global giving online fundraising training

The internet has dramatically expanded the global reach of small organisations, providing them with opportunities to raise funds quickly and efficiently. In order to help small charities make the most of these opportunities we ran a free online fundraising training workshop in October 2011.

This free workshop, hosted by GlobalGiving UK, combined tutorials on the fundamentals of online fundraising with in-depth explanations of how to use GlobalGiving's website to raise money for individual organisations. Some of the tutorials included:

• How to expand your network and maintain donor relationships through online dialogue.

• How to create an online fundraising strategy.

• How to identify and engage advocates and champions.
